Tommy Hilfiger Men’s Size Chart

• Sold as letter sizes (XXS–XXXXL). If your product’s size options look different, use the tab that matches them.
• One Tommy Hilfiger chart covers tees, polos, shirts, sweaters and fleece — sized by your chest, with neck, waist and sleeve as checks. Each letter spans two of TH’s numeric body columns, with real 1″ gaps between letters — a chest in a gap is flagged between-sizes and rounded up (size down for a slimmer fit).
• Heads up if you compare against TH’s own size chart: the numbers are right, but it prints the letter headers shifted one column too far right — enough that its biggest size sits over a single column and the smallest column is left unlabeled. We pair each letter with the two columns it’s meant to cover (which is what TH’s product pages show), so our size can read one letter smaller than a quick glance at TH’s chart suggests.
• Our chart runs XXS–XXXXL, though the very ends are thinly stocked — most TH tops sell in the XS–XXXL range.

• TH sizes heavier jackets, coats and vests on their own chart — TH’s European body block, which it publishes in centimeters on its EU size guides and converts to inches for the US site, so both unit views here are TH’s own printed figures. Some lighter jackets use the Tops chart instead: if the product’s own size guide shows a US/EU size row, it’s this chart — go by that row, not the popup’s title, which sometimes says “Tops” over this very table.
• Blazers size by this chart too, sold under its US numbers: XS is a 34, S a 36–38, M a 40, L a 42, XL a 44, XXL a 46, 3XL a 48 — so your blazer tag is about your chest measurement. A few blazer pages instead show a table listing the same 17½″ arm at every size: those are the garment’s own dimensions, not body measurements — don’t size by them.
• TH’s printed 4XL and 5XL rows jump about ten inches past 3XL (a 59.8″ chest at 4XL) on its guide and product pages alike — a real body doesn’t gain ten inches of chest while the neck and arm barely move, and TH’s own European chart stops at 3XL — so we leave them off. • Sold as neck sizes (14.5–18). If your product’s size options look different, use the tab that matches them.
• TH sizes dress shirts by your neck — the collar is the size, sold in half-inch steps from 14.5 to 18. Between two collars we size up, naming the smaller when you’re within a half inch. Dress shirts sell inside TH’s Shirts category (only a couple of styles at a time): a shirt sized 14.5–18 by the neck is this chart; a letter-sized shirt is the Tops tab.
• TH’s product pages publish the body each collar is cut for, and the chest and waist grade smoothly with it — a 15 collar fits a 38–40″ chest, a 16 a 42–44″ — so we check yours against them and say so if they sit a size away from your collar.
• Heads up if you check TH’s own size-guide page: its dress-shirt table lists each fit’s garment dimensions (the chest changes when you switch Slim to Regular, which a body can’t do) — the body chart we use is the one on the product pages themselves.
• Sleeve length is a second choice at checkout — every collar comes in 32/33, and 15.5 up add 34/35. TH publishes no body sleeve for them, so pick the length you usually wear.

• Sold as waist × length sizes (28–46). If your product’s size options look different, use the tab that matches them.
• We size TH’s numbered chinos, jeans, pants and shorts by your body waist — TH lists a 33½″ body waist as a size 32 (a uniform 1½″ offset, identical on its size guide and every product popup we checked), so we recommend the size TH says fits, not the number matching your tape. Hip is the check. Sizes run 28 through 46; TH’s guide also prints a 48 and 50 that no bottoms product currently sells, so we leave them off until they return.
• Length is picked from your inseam, or your height (our height bands are our own estimate). TH cuts 30/32/34 on standard styles plus a longer 36 on a few — its European size guide names them Short, Regular, Tall and X-Tall, with inside legs of 76, 81, 86 and 91cm. A cropped 28 exists on a couple of styles; TH calls it Crop, a styling choice rather than a length we’d pick by height.
• Numbered shorts use these same waist tags (their inch length is a fixed style measurement — ignore our length pick). A few European-sourced styles print their own EU-converted chart on the product page; when a product’s own chart differs from this one, trust the product’s.

• TH’s letter-sized bottoms — elastic-waist and pull-on pants, sweatpants, sweatshorts, letter shorts and swim — sized by body waist with hip as a check. The letters group the same body table as the numbered Pants tab (XS covers tags 28–29, up to XXXL at 44–46), so a given waist lands in the matching place on either tab. TH’s guide also draws an XXXXL over tags 48–50, but no letter product sells past XXXL, so we stop there.
• Heads up on joggers: some — along with other European-sourced styles — print their own EU-converted chart on the product page, with slightly different letter spans (an S there covers tags 30–32 instead of 30–31). When a product’s own size guide differs from this chart, trust the product’s.
• Length options vary by style and many styles come in one length, so match the product’s stated length — your letter stays the same. Underwear and pajamas size differently: see the Loungewear tab.

• TH’s Underwear & Loungewear chart (its product pages title it Underwear & Sleepwear) covers boxers, briefs, pajama and sleep bottoms plus lounge tops and sleep tanks, on one letter run. We size the bottoms and underwear by your waist; lounge tops and tanks go by chest — an S fits a 34–36″ chest, up to XXL at 50–52″. It runs looser than TH’s other letter sizes (an S here fits a 28–30″ waist; a Joggers-tab S is 31½–32½″), so use this tab for the underwear and sleep department and the Joggers tab for sweats.
• TH leaves real gaps between letters (a 31″ waist sits between S and M); a measurement in a gap is flagged between-sizes and rounded up.

• Tommy Jeans is TH’s denim-led line with its own chart — TH titles it “Tommy Jeans Tops & Outerwear”, so TJ jackets size here too — cut smaller than the main line: don’t assume your usual TH letter. One chest target per size: between two targets we size up, naming the smaller size when you’re within an inch of it.
• TJ prints a 16″ neck for both S and M (kept as published — your chest decides), and its sleeve row is measured differently from the center-back sleeve we collect, so we don’t size by it.

• Sold as waist × length sizes (27–40). If your product’s size options look different, use the tab that matches them.
• Tommy Jeans’ numbered jeans are sized by the body waist TJ says each tag fits — 1″ over the tag (a 33″ waist is a TJ 32), the same on TJ’s guide and product pages. Hip is the check; length is picked from your inseam, or your height (TJ sells 30/32/34 — TH’s European guide gives those legs as 76/81/86cm; the height bands are our estimate).
• TJ’s letter-sized bottoms — sweatpants, shorts, swim — group these same numbers (XS covers 27–29, S 30–32, M 33–34, L 36, XL 38, XXL 40, and TJ’s chart marks the 42 as its XXXL), so the matching tag is the same body either way.
• TJ also lists a 42, but its printed measurements (46″ waist, 57.5″ hip) break TJ’s own ladder on its guide and product pages alike — a likely misprint, so we leave it off. If your waist is past 41″, the 42 exists — check the product’s own guide.
