Tall lengths

Some Carhartt tops also come in Tall lengths — same body measurements, just cut longer or shorter. Pick the one for your height:

Regular — for men under 6′
Tall — for men 6′ and over

How we sized thissized by chest

Sold as letter sizes (XS to 6XL). If your product's size options look different, use the tab that matches them.
Carhartt lists one chest measurement per size, in 4″ steps, with no neck or sleeve — so we recommend the size closest to your chest. If you land between two, we'll show both: size up for a looser fit, down for a tighter one.
Carhartt makes a Tall top (L–3XL) with a longer body and sleeve but publishes no length measurement, so we switch you to Tall by your height (around 6′) rather than by a measured sleeve.

How we sized thissized by waist

Sold as waist × length sizes (26–62). If your product's size options look different, use the tab that matches them.
We size Carhartt's jeans and work pants by your body waist — a 32″ waist is a size 32. Length is picked from your inseam, or your height if you haven't measured it (Carhartt's own Short/Regular/Tall height guide).
Carhartt's chart lists a waist half an inch above the size number (a 32 fits a 32½″ waist); we map it 1:1 for consistency with other brands, so a half-inch waist lands between two sizes and gets the between-size call-out.

Carhartt's sweatpants and joggers use letter sizes by waist, with low hip as a check — separate from its numbered work pants. It lists one waist per letter (4″ apart), so we recommend the closest and name the neighbour (size up for looser).
