How we sized thissized by chest
  • Sold as letter sizes (XXS to 3XL). If your product's size options look different, use the tab that matches them.
  • One Patagonia chart covers all tops — tees, hoodies, fleece and jackets — sized by your chest with hip as a check; every product page we checked carries this same body chart. Patagonia's own advice: if your hip points to a bigger size than your chest, take the bigger one — we flag exactly that when they disagree.
  • Patagonia's size-guide page and its product-page charts disagree by 1–2″ in places. We use the product-page chart — it matches the sizes actually sold — and we've flagged the discrepancy to Patagonia.
  • Product pages label each cut (Formfitting → Oversized) and show crowd fit-feedback (“True To Size”) — the cut changes, your size doesn't. Patagonia leaves real gaps between sizes; land in one and we round up, naming the smaller size as the slimmer option.
