How we sized thissized by chest

Sold as letter sizes (XS to 5XL). If your product's size options look different, use the tab that matches them.
One lululemon chart covers all tops — tees, shirts, hoodies, jackets and vests — sized by your chest; every product page we checked carries this same body chart.
Some styles sell in combined dual sizes (XS/S, M/L, XL/XXL). Your single-letter size tells you which to pick — an M fits the M/L.
lululemon leaves 1″ between top sizes (2″ between XXL and XXXL); if your chest lands in a gap we recommend the next size up, and you can size down for a snugger fit. lululemon's charts call the size above XXL "3XL", but the products that carry it sell it as XXXL — we use the name on the product. Product pages also show crowd fit-feedback (“fits true to size” / “a bit large”) — worth a glance on relaxed cuts.

How we sized thissized by waist

Sold as waist × length sizes (26–50). If your product's size options look different, use the tab that matches them.
We size lululemon's numbered pants, trousers and shorts by your body waist, with hip as a check. lululemon's numbers run about 1″ small — its own chart lists a 33″ body waist as a size 32 — so we recommend the size lululemon says fits you, not the number matching your tape.
Above size 40 lululemon grades differently: a 42 is cut for about a 46″ body waist, and nothing is published for 42–45″ waists. Land there and we recommend the 42 — the smallest size cut that big — naming the 40 as a tighter size-down only when you're within about an inch of it.
Length (28/30/32/34/37″ — there's no 36) is picked from your inseam, or your height if you haven't measured it (our standard estimate — lululemon publishes no length-by-height guide). Offered lengths vary by style, and lululemon hems for free.

lululemon's joggers, sweatpants and pull-on shorts (plus swim trunks and underwear) use letter sizes (XXS–5XL) — lululemon's own grouping of its numbered sizes (an XL spans the 36–38 waists), so this tab and the Pants tab always agree. Waist governs, hip as a check.
The numbered chart's gap carries over: between XXL (up to a 41″ waist) and 3XL (from 46″) nothing is published — land there and we recommend 3XL as the round-up, XXL as the size-down.
Length availability varies by product. When a style offers a length choice, match its inches to your inseam — your letter size stays the same.
