How we sized thissized by chest
  • Sold as letter sizes (XXS to 5X). If your product's size options look different, use the tab that matches them.
  • We size North Face's jackets and tops by your chest, with hip as a secondary check. NF's chart also lists an arm-length row; we don't size by it.
  • North Face splits its tops into a Standard fit (XXS–3XL) and a Big fit (2X–5X) — Big is cut fuller through the hip and seat at the same chest (it's a separate line on NF's site). When your chest fits both, we default to Standard and use your hip to tell them apart — so add your hip if you might be a Big.
